Hay making has started!

We are cutting the wild flower meadows, and trying to make hay over the next week or two. It is important that we remove the grass at this time of year, otherwise it will smother the wild flowers, and they wont come back next year. The hay goes to a neighbouring farmer who will feed it to his cows, and in return he will cut our hedges for us in the winter when the birds are not nesting
